In 1989 Beresfords acquired Robinsons in Billericay which had been operating locally since 1976. Now located within a modern branch in a prominent High Street location the sales and lettings teams are both recognised as market leaders within the town.
The Managers of each department are experienced within the property industry. They both live locally and have been working in the area for many years.

Our Inventories are very comprehensive circa 50 pages plus so occasionally our Inventory Cleks may miss a few minor things. However we always ask that clients come back to us within 48 hours of receiving the document to inform us of any changes so that we can make the neccessary amendments straight away. The understand the fees but felt £90 entrance and exit inventory is quite a lot (£180 total) as no doubt the next people to move in will have to pay the same for a check that was just done prior to them moving in. The other fee that caught us off guard was having to have a professional cleaner clean the property once we leave. I understand keeping the place clean but to waste money on a cleaner just so we don't get a unknown charge once we leave is just unfair and feel the overall result should be down to the property owner once they have checked the place and agree with the tenants if a clean is needed or not prior to just moving out.

Just prior to any new tenants moving in our Inventory Clerk visits the property and compiles a detailed Inventory Report. This containes an overview of the properties condition and protects the interests of both landlord and tenant. Normally our Inventory Clerk will be on site for 2/3 hours and reports generally extend to more than 50 ...
